The 2022 NECA Convention and Trade Show

Registration is open for this year’s National Electrical Contractors Association Convention and Trade Show. This exciting annual event is taking place in Austin, Texas on October 15 -18. Attendees will enjoy access to numerous educational offerings, North America’s largest electrical construction trade show, fantastic keynote speakers, networking opportunities and lively entertainment.

Throughout the convention a variety of compelling education sessions will be offered on topics including business best practices, technology, recruiting and retaining employees, financial management and so much more. This year there is a hybrid learning option so that all attendees will be able to access on-demand content of anything they missed, or want to re-watch, after the convention. Between several education sessions running at the same time, attending the trade show, and socializing with colleagues, it can be difficult to be everywhere you want to be. Hybrid means you won’t miss a thing!

An event highlight, the Trade Show, offers the chance for hands-on interaction with everything you need when it comes to power, light, energy and communication technology. With over 300 exhibitors, you’ll find products, services and customized solutions for all aspects of your business, from the jobsite to the office. While on the trade show floor, attend education workshops on leadership, technology and contractor solutions, discover the newest products, hang out at the Sports Zone, bid in the silent auction, enjoy a massage, and play with puppies at the Pause for Paws petting park. That’s right, puppies.

Additionally, this year’s special guests and keynote speakers include Hall of Fame NFL running back and entrepreneur Emmitt Smith, Scott Pelley of 60 Minutes, and many more, including industry experts. There will also be no shortage of opportunities to interact and network with colleagues throughout, including at concerts and other social events.

This year’s NECA Convention and Trade Show is thus far shaping up to be the biggest and most exciting one yet, and why wouldn’t it be? With the need for skilled electrical contractors only growing, and developments in industry technology, it’s vital to stay on top of the latest innovations and to connect and learn from one another.
